The JCK Las Vegas Show unfurled on June 3, 2011, at its new location at the Mandlay Bay Hotel and Convention Centre, upholding the promise of providing its buyers and exhibitors a more spacious,luxurious and amenity-filled environment.

However, despite the large number of show staff wearing the “ASK ME” t-shirt to help participants find their way about there was a lot of confusion from the buyer’s point of view as to what is placed where. The exhibitors, however, seem quite pleased with the new location for it provides them with a bigger space and can accommodate most of them at the same level.

The Indian Pavilion has also been allocated a better location as compared to the previous years. The show now has a separate Diamond Plaza especially created for the diamond traders placing most of the dealers in close proximity to each other. However, due to the relocation the Plumb Forum witnessed less footfall.

With more than 2,500 participating companies from 22 countries, the first day of the show took off on a positive note. The JCK show will conclude on 6th June, 2011.
