Gaja to invest Rs.100 crore in retail expansion

To support its retail expansion plans, Gaja, in-house retail brand of leading Indian diamond and jewellery manufacturer Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Limited (SGJHL), plans to invest Rs. 100 crore over two years. The brand plans to open around six to eight outlet in India by year end in cities like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Siligudi, Mangalore and Pune.

Recently it opened a retail outlet at Rajkot which also becomes its second in the state of Gujarat, the first being in Ahmedabad. It is looking at opening more outlets in Vadodara and Surat.

Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Ltd., headquartered in Kolkata, is one of India’s leading manufacturer and exporter of hallmarked and handcrafted gold jewellery, besides manufacturing and exporting diamond jewellery, gemstone studded jewellery and light weight Italian jewellery.
