IDI launches designing institute in Vesu

The opening of the Indian Diamond Institute’s (IDI) designing institute dubbed - 'City Centre' and set up at Vesu, saw a gathering of leaders of Indian diamond industry, as the facility was inaugurated at the hands of DTC CEO Varda Shine along with colleagues from DTC. The facility conceived and built as a world-class diamond and jewellery designing institute. Investment in the project was around Rs 13 crore.

The project promises an encouragement of supporting growth in India’s gem and jewellery sector with skilled artisans and talent. Ms. Shine noted that india is already a leading nation for diamond and jewellery manufacturing and such design centres can support this with the required skills.
