A sad moment for the global gem & jewellery and luxury industry, as Mr. Neal Goldberg, governing board co-president of the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF), passed away. He was aged 51 years. In his past professional work records, he served also as chief executive officer at Zale Corporation from 2007 to 2010, and was a member of the board, president of The Childrens Place Retail Stores Inc. and president of Gap Inc.’s outlet division. His vision and direction would truly be missed.
