Exclusive poster competition dedicated to emeralds

THE 4rth Jaipur jewellery show will take place in December from Dec 22 to Dec 25, 2006. Although the show will enable jewelers, people dealing with gemstones and diamond to exhibit their vast repertoire of products it will also be dedicated to the promotion of emerald-the excusive green gemstone that royalty loved and flaunted for centuries

We encourage all jewellery designers, graphic and art designers to participate in this competition. The competition is open to everyone. So if you know of graphic designers, art students, or anyone else with creative talents please encourage them to submit designs to the organizing committee. Through the competition the Jaipur jewellery show 2006 Steering committee encourages members of the trade as well as students and graphic designers to come up with innovative and creative ideas that promote the usage, appreciation and trade of emeralds

All entries will be exhibited during the 2006 Jaipur Jewellery show in Jaipur and may be used by the Steering committee in its publications which promote coloured gemstones worldwide. Each designer may submit up to three different poster designs. By submitting a poster, each participant accepts that the steering committee is entitled to use the poster anyway it chooses to

A select awards committee will decide the winners. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners at the end of the Japiur jewellery show 2006. The prize money is as follows. First prize -$2000, Second prize- $1000, Third prize- $500
