Rajesh Exports’ net profit after tax rises 156.89% in June quarter

Rajesh Exports Ltd. has clocked in net profit after tax to the tune of Rs.474.01 million in the quarter ending June 30, 2010, an increase of 156.89 percent over Rs.184.52 million in the same quarter last year. The company delves in diamond and diamond jewellery manufacturing. In the said period of 2010, revenues rose 16.65 percent to Rs.42,834.39 million from Rs.36721.68 millions in the said quarter of last year. The company’s order book stands at Rs. 4162.32 crores. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) rose 136.62 percent to Rs.1.68 on a Re.1 face value share over the corresponding period a year ago (Rs.0.71 on a Re.1 face value).
