Diamond trade growth is key topic for 34th World Diamond Congress

A key topic that will be discussed at the 34th World Diamond Congress slated from July 11-13, 2010, will be on WFDB's role in the diamond business during this time of market recovery. Also, World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) President Avi Paz called on attendees to "come well prepared and offer suggestions and constructive ideas that will contribute to the advancement of the diamond business in what is now called the 'new normal' economy."

The agenda for the participants comprising members of the General Assembly of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, will include meetings of the Trade and Promotion Committee, Judicial Committee and Executive Committee, working sessions of the WFDB General Assembly amongst other segments. There will also be a formal application made by the South Korean Diamond Exchange president Jae Kim for a WFDB membership.

The Congress to be held in Moscow, is being co-hosted by the Diamond Chamber of Russia and the Russian Diamond Manufacturers Association, in cooperation with the Moscow Diamond Bourse.
