India International Jewellery Week to debut in August

The event will be an international trade platform for India’s jewellery industry

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has recently launched a platform to showcase and promote India as the ‘Innovation & Design Centre’ for jewellery, across the globe. The platform is named as India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) and will make its debut appearance in Mumbai between 15th – 19th August 2010.

The platform would showcase India’s finest in jewellery, be it design, technology, innovation and craftsmanship, experienced as well as upcoming designers. It promises to bring in selective top buyers from India and abroad to attend. The GJEPC is taking aggressive promotional measures to highlight the scale and importance of this show.
