Shrenuj’s net sales rise 64%

Leading diamond and diamond jewellery manufacturing company Shrenuj & Co. Ltd., has earned itself around 64 percent rise in its net sales year-on-year for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2010. Its net sales valued $135.9 million, with diamond sales increasing 75 percent to $105.2 million and sale of studded jewellery rising 7 percent to $25.2 million in the said period.

Its group profits valued $3 million as compared to a net loss of $1.2 million in the previous year. Its expenses rose 66 percent to $128.1 million. The company has said that it has witnessed a revival in the U.S. markets and is also holding optimistic views on Indian and Chinese markets.
