ICA enters into an agreement with Chinese retailer

With the initiative of promoting coloured gemstones in China, the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) has reached an agreement with leading Chinese retailer - Beijing Caishikou General Merchandise Co. also referred to as Cai Bai.

The terms of the agreement were recently finalised by ICA President Wilson Yuen with Ms. Chun Li Wang, General Manager of Beijing Caishikou General Merchandise Co., reports say. Taking the arrangement ahead, Ms. Wang has proposed organising an exhibition in Beijing during September 2010. As per the agreement, a five - 10 day exhibition would be organised, followed by an in-store promotion of coloured stones and gemstone jewellery, reports add. Post exhibition, the merchandise will be included as permanent display at Cai Bai in Beijing.
