Members of the 28 diamond exchanges affiliated to the WFDB are now entitled to discounts on a range of services offered by HRD Antwerp, following negotiations between the WFDB and HRD Antwerp management, reports say. The office of the Secretary-General of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), made the announcement.

A 15 percent discount is allowed on the listed prices for any course, which is included in the HRD Antwerp Education curriculum. "This means that wherever in the world bourse members register for and partake in a gemological course, the discount will be granted," Vaughan said.

A 5 percent discount is being offered on the listed prices, to bourse members who use the grading services of the HRD Diamond Lab or the Precious Stones Lab. The discount is valid for all types of certificates and identification services documentation.

To avail of the discounts, bourse members need to present a valid and current bourse membership card. Vaughan noted, "My office is constantly looking for opportunities that will not only add value but also will help make the WFDB more relevant to the individual bourse member."
