Suashish Diamonds saw net sales rise more than double in Q3

The company’s net profits amounted to $3.7 million

Suashish Diamonds Limited achieved $67.4 million worth of sales in the third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2009,while its sales in the same period last year stood at $31.1 million. Net sales increased more than double. The period accounted for net profit worth $3.7 million, while in the same three months last year the company had noted a net loss of $6.6 million. The company’s expenses valued $69.1 million, rising by 82 percent in the said period.

In the first nine months of 2009, the company saw a 2 percent increase in sales to $195 million, 4 percent increase in expenses to $199.7 million and net profits amounting $10.3 million, over $8.8 million worth of net profits in the same nine months of 2008.
