IDCA to honour Mr. Nirmal Bardiya at its gala awards

Mr. Nirmal Bardiya, Chairman & Managing Director, RMC Gems Group, will be honoured at the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Associations’ (IDCA) upcoming gala awards dinner on February 4, 2010, for his dynamic and enterprising entrepreneurial skills. He has been the pioneering leader in setting up the RMC Gems Group, which has been exporting cut stones in tons for the past three years. Mr. Bardiya has been awarded the ‘Highest Exporter Award’ in coloured gem stones for the year 2008-09, by the Government of Rajasthan.

Mr Bardiya is a committee member of the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India and co-convener of Colour Stone Panel for all over India. He is also a committee member of Jaipur Jewellers Association and convener of the Jewelers Association Show (JAS) since the foundation of the show. He is also a member of ICA.

“I am truly honored to be receiving this award from IDCA”, Mr. Bardiya is quoted as saying. IDCA is dedicated to promoting jewellery business in the US, which is the largest consumer market in the world. Today, India is the major source of gem & jewellery in the world and America is the ultimate market. IDCA bridges the gap between the two and it stands to move forward as a vital and highly recognisable force in the industry. The award ceremony will take place at the Marriott University Park Hotel at Tucson, AZ.
