National Institute of Jewellery Design and National Institute of Fashion Technology sign MoU

The two will introduce new courses and upgrade existing facilities

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Institute of Jewellery Design (NIJDT) and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to jointly work at introducing new courses and improving the existing facilities. Reports state that The MoU was signed by CMD Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) Chetan Sanghi and Rajiv Takru, Director General, NIFT in the presence of Haroon Yusuf, Minister of Industries, Delhi Government.

As per the MoU, NIFT will be responsible to guide in course positioning, design, setting the curriculum, selecting faculty, upgrading the labs and co-branding of the courses. NIJDT will add support in administration and finance.
