Third edition of Indo- China Buyer-Seller Meet to be held in Beijing

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is hosting the third edition of the Indo- China Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in Beijing between 9-11 November, 2009. The first edition was held in Shanghai in 2007, followed by another in Shenzhen in 2008. The BSM has been gaining importance due to the growing importance of the Chinese market in the world gem and jewellery industry.

The timing of the BSM would coincide with the China International Jewellery Fair in Beijing slated for 5-8 November, 2009. Also, the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) had in the previous two editions of the BSM allowed duty-free import upto Beijing, which it is likely to do for the third edition.

Participating companies fort he third edition of the BSM include Ankit Gems, Asian Star Co Ltd, Interjewel Pvt Ltd, Laxmi Diamonds Pvt Ltd, Revashankar Gems Ltd, Super Gems, Rare Jewels, Munjani Brothers, R N Exports, Nikita Diamonds, Kala Gems & Co.(Jaipur) and C. Mahendra Exports Ltd., reports add.
