Burman is elected as chairman to JA board

He will lead JA to achieve its national and global objectives

Terry Burman has been elected as chairman to the board of Jewelers of America (JA). The election was held at JA's board of directors meeting in July, which also welcomed the other new directors. Burman is succeeding John Green of Lux Bond & Green.

In his new role, Burman will lead the JA board at a time when JA merges with the Jewelry Information Center. Burman is also the group CEO of Signet Jewelers Limited and chairman of Sterling Jewelers Inc.
