India’s first Indo-Euro Jewellery Summit is being organised by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and Jewellers of Europe NV, in Mumbai between 18 to 22 November at the Mumbai Marriot Renaissance resort. The purpose of the summit is outlined to be a platform to host a group of 15 to 20 jewellery retailers who hold chain stores in the countries of UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy; and bring about a networking atmosphere between them.

It will enable these retailers to source of finished jewellery from Indian manufacturers active at the entry-, mid- or high-end of the market and simultaneously enable European distributors to learn the potential of modern Indian jewellery manufacturing. The summit will include seminars, presentations and facilitated discussions.
