AWDC to host biggest pavilion ever at September HK show

The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) will host the largest national pavilion ever of all the nations participating in the September 21-25 Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair, to promote Antwerp’s diamond trade to the fullest, as the global economic is recovering.

The pavilion will have over 80 exhibitors demonstrating the Antwerp’s wide variety of diamonds. AWDC will present award-winning jewellery from its 2009 HRD Awards collection, whose theme was "Once upon a time... my favourite fairytale". A showcase has been specially constructed to display the jewellery pieces of 30 finalists, including the winner and four laureates.

Meanwhile, Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) will hand out Belgian beer and chocolates to visitors. FIT partners with AWDC at the Hong Kong September show to promote trade in Flanders, the northern part of Belgium, where Antwerp is located.
