In these earrings, Gehry has used a familiar fine corrugated texture seen in his earlier works, on sterling silver and has used diamonds to reflect light through many facets. The design inspiration is the tennis star’s powerful attitude while on court.

The Tiffany earrings will have been seen on Sharapova at all four Grand Slam events of 2009 –Australia, France, Wimbledon and now the United States. The earrings are named "Stria” and are being retailed at chosen boutiques of Tiffany.
