Sears Holdings Corp. has launched a Christmas Club account, helping shoppers to save up for the upcoming holiday season purchase. Consumers can save money in regular intervals into their Sears Christmas club card until November 14, as the programme suggests, or activate it before October 31 and get a 3 percent reward relative to the card's value, up to $100.

The Sears Christmas Card is similar to the traditional Christmas club account and has received encouraging consumer response, reports say. The stores under the Sears umbrella are - Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Kmart.
