Fossil plans to launch global jewellery brands in India

Fossil, a retail brand and company of luxury products headquartered in the U.S, is considering launching international jewellery brands, which are part of its global portfolio, to the Indian markets. It also plans to re-launch the OyzterBay jewellery brand in India, which it had acquired in 2006.

Fossil’s international jewelelry portfolio consists of DKNY, Emporio Armani and Diesel brands, which it is likely to launch into India. The OyzterBay collection is being targeted for a relaunch by end of the fourth quarter of the year, reports say.

Fossil retails watches, jewellery and accessories of around 15 brands in the world, while its current Indian portfolio includes watches of Fossil, DKNY, Diesel, Burberry, Adidas and Armani, besides leather goods and eyewear from its home turf.
