Tiffany & Co. has launched a jewellery collection of oriental appeal, entitled Paloma Zellige. The designer Paloma Picasso has interpreted the art of Zellige tiles of Morocco in designing the collection of necklaces, medallion pendant chains, medallion earrings and rings. The jewellery collection is unique with its ornate appeal yet lightweight filigree-style designs.

The pieces are made of three metals, ranging from 18k yellow or white gold and sterling silver. They are decorated with diamonds, precious stones and enamel work. A medallion pendant bears the graphic of large tiles, and can be worn with a gold chain or black silk chord. A pair of 18k white gold hoop earrings carry round brilliant diamonds, black onyx and rock crystal, brining alive the Moroccan beauty.
