diamond world news service

A Mosaic Collection from the house of Yael Designs will be launched at the Prime Jewelry Group show, slated in Boston on August 23, 2009. The name Mosaic refers to the design inspiration and interpretation of the collection. Black and white diamonds are teamed together and set in white gold, and reflect a mosaic of stones on close look. The designer, Yehouda Saketkhou, has employed his inspiration of geometric and natural patterns appearing in mosques and carpets of the Middle East. The collection consists of 48 pendants, rings and earrings, each of which contains between 1.5 and 3.5 carats of diamonds. The jewellery pieces are priced between $5,000 to $15,000.
