The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has created two separate forums for its members and the general public, and has launched the ventures online. The AGTA members-only forum can be accessed at www.agta.org, by clicking on the “Members Only Forum” button. The member website offers opportunities for networking through reading and writing posts pertaining to 13 subject matters including education, trade shows, marketing, government affairs, security alerts and Spectrum Awards.

The public website is a platform of knowledge sharing on gemstone research, through question and answer session and discussions. The Gemstone Forums site can be accessed with a registration, but is free of cost.

The AGTA intends the website to become a single platform for the industry to interact on research and aspects related to the coloured gemstone and cultured pearl industry.
