eLuxury, an online source for jewellery, apparel and accessories by high-end designers, is closing its present format of retailing and re-launching as an editorial portal. The website is owned by Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton LVMH. The retail venture will close on July 26.

The new portal is slated to launch in early 2010, and will carry editorial for luxury customers worldwide. It is also being designed with attractive features like contests, links to social networking websites and e-newsletters.

Since its launch in 2000, eLuxury has been a source for brands like Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Maison Martin Margiela, Marc Jacobs and Versace.
