Jewellery company Theo Fennell recently welcomed back its founder and jewellery designer Theo Fennell as creative director. The designer who retired from the company some months ago, has rejoined it along with former Hamley’s part-owner Rupert Hambro, who will act as non-executive chairman and Alasdair Hadden-Paton as deputy chairman at Theo Fennell.

With the new appointments, the three new individuals will hold a collective stake of around 30 percent in the company, with which, Fennell will increase his personal stake from the prior 15 percent to over 19 percent. The reorganisation is being looked upon as a pillar to build up the falling sales of the company, which had lost its design direction, with the resignation of Theo Fennell in the recent past. Theo Fennell has been renowned as the designer for the stars and his creativity includes diamond-encrusted skulls and solid silver Marmite lids. The company has also re-appointed its former managing director Barbara Snoad now as chief executive, following the resignation of Pamela Harper in March.
