Goldvish launches 'Revolution' cell phone

Baselworld 2009 will host the launch of a unique cell phone by its manufacturer - Goldvish a Geneva-based company. The revolutionary mobile phone, namely - ‘Revolution’ will be showcased at the event, which spans from March 26 to April 2, 2009.The phone has become distinguished in the sphere of high-end communication, offering a luxury cell phone and ‘haute horlogerie’ all combined in one piece.

GoldVish exclusively collaborated with the award winning Swiss watch maker Frédéric Jouvenot to create this piece. The phone incorporates the unique Jouvenot chronograph hand movements with column wheels, automatic rewinding system and unique patented face. The phone has been crafted in 18-carat white and rose gold, mounted with 29-carats of VVS-1 graded diamonds and bearing the latest mobile technology. Designer Emmanuel Gueit, the creative mind behind the phone explains “This masterpiece is a clever blend of history, functionality, elegance and contemporary design which makes this timekeeper and cell phone in one, something totally new”.

The GoldVish Revolution will be distributed as a very limited edition of nine pieces worldwide and is only available on special request. It is priced at 369.000 Euro.
