With the endeavour to increase support to its over two hundred members, the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association’s Board of Directors plan to increase programmes and services, by seeking new and expanded programmes, ways to enhance the association’s major annual awards programmes and internal and external communications activities.

The Board has retained Jerry Buckley, president of the Buckley Consulting Group, to help implement the strategy. “During these tough days for the diamond, gem and jewellery industry, the Board believes Jerry’s broad knowledge of the trade and with associations will be a great asset for IDCA and its members.” stated Yogesh Madhvani, IDCA vice president.

Adding to this, Haridas Kotahwala, president of the IDCA board said, “This year the IDCA board is focusing on expanding member services and enhancing the value of our organisation to meet today’s needs. We are very pleased to be working with Jerry Buckley, whose extensive experience and knowledge from his work at GIA and other non profit organisations will be of tremendous value.” Currently, the board is working at giving its members additional information and is paving ways for more opportunities to help strengthen their businesses.
