Tacori boosts retailers' customer service

Now has a 6-day working week

diamond world news service

Tacori, which is a well known design company for diamond and platinum engagement rings, has noted a 13 percent increase in its special orders during January 2009, and is focusing on a 6-day work week rather than a 5-day week, to allow their retailers meet the increase in enquiries and sales. The company is increasing its working hours, to now include Saturday working hours from 11:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. EST (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PST).

This it believes will enable its authorised retail partners to contact their respective Tacori specialist for orders and obtaining price quotes even on a weekend, thus providing prompt feedback and efficient customer service and retaining happy customers. Sales would receive a boost.

Customer service is one key area, which market experts have suggested help retailers boost sales in the constraining economic situations of today. It would be big support for retailers if manufacturers too could participate in providing better support to retailers and be part of the larger chain of events, in boosting sales.
