Schedule released for ICA Congress 2009

To acquaint participants of the forthcoming ICA Congress scheduled at Panyu, China, from May 5-10, 2009, the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) released a schedule of activities for the event. The Congress is being held with the theme ‘Your Gateway to China;’ in the Chinese language it is, ‘Your Gateway to the World.’

The attendance at the Congress includes delegates from mining, producing and trading centers of the world, keen on participating in ICA activities and to expand business opportunities. The event is being sponsored by the National Gemstone Testing Center (NGTC) in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Panyu Branch and Woldmart Jewelry & Gems Emporium (HK) Ltd.

Highly anticipated events at the Congress include a two-day ICA Gem Show, excursions, debate session and more. The Congress allows for networking and recreation with its scheduled tennis and golf tournaments. Also, an excursion is being organised on the second last day, to WorldMart, Sawan Industrial Park, followed by the ICA Gem Show. The last day will conclude with talks on how delegates have achieved success in China, a debate session, the ICA General Assembly, a visit to Guangzhou Gem & Jewelry Show. The Congress will conclude with a Gala Dinner.

A detailed Congress Agenda will soon be made available with details on the Gem Show, speakers and excursions and information on the registration, transportation, hotel will be launched on the ICA Congress website during end of this week.
