Sarin Technologies announced on February 28, 2006 that it was increasing its workforce by more than 25% by recruiting an additional 40 employees. This announcement was a result of its earlier declaration of 109% rise in profits.

In the past year, Sarin not only continued to develop new products, but also saw a significant rise in both sales and profits. The need for new staff members is the natural outcome of these very positive developments, said Sarin CEO Zeev Leshem.

Sarin has also appointed key executives and made few changes in its management. Akiva Caspi was appointed Vice President for the diamond manufacturing industry, replacing David Block who will head Sarins subsidiary in India. Yehuda Naim was appointed Vice President for the Retail and Gem Labs, replacing Udi Lederer, the recently appointed Vice President of Marketing.
