MJSA appoints new CEO

Will undertake the task of fulfilling its new strategic plans

David Cochran has been appointed as the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA), after the organisation undertook a year-long search for the post. The MJSA undertook the task of preparing a strategic plan for the future, in which, it analysed its membership list, its current offerings of products and services. It decided to expand its representation of designers and manufacturers nationwide and its deliverables in helping the industry increase training to the workers; being active in influencing legislations, providing tools and information for its members to engage in government affairs and increase the methods through which it delivers information, and offers better opportunities to its members for marketing and sales.

Cochran has been assigned the role to assist MJSA in fulfilling its future plans.
