Choprad has designed the "IMD-Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Distinguished Family Business Award" trophy for the 9th consecutive year in 2008. The award was presented by the IMD management institute and Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie during the 19th edition of the FBN (The Family Business Network) on October 22nd in New Delhi, honouring ‘best practice’ displayed in top-flight family businesses.

The Chopard designed trophy was creatively executed as a tree crafted in aluminium, and held between two glass-plates, fixed in a partially transparent base, presented in an elegant pear wood case. The trophy recognises values such as tradition, entrepreneurship and innovation. It symbolises stability, the link between past and future and the continuity of generations, a metaphor of the family business spirit.

This year the award was granted to Roca Corporaciòn Empresarial S.A, based in Barcelona, Spain. The trophy was handed over by Professor John Wells, IMD President, in presence of Her Highness Shriji Arvind Singhji Mewar of Udaipur. Roca Corporaciòn Empresarial was founded in 1917 and is part of the leading sanitary equipments producers and distributors in the world.
