Fashion designer Rohit Bal has joined hands with diamond and diamond jewellery manufacturers – ‘Kirtilals’, marking his foray into jewellery design. The partnership launched its first collection ‘Jewelled Garden- the Lotus Collection’ at Hotel Imperial, Delhi. The collection is creatively inspired by the “Lotus”, which is Rohit’s iconic logo.

“The Jewelled Garden”, The Lotus Collection, imbibes the forms of nature, to create Haute Joaillerie hand-crafted using the finest quality of diamonds, coloured gems, rare coloured diamonds, Italian Corals & Conch Pearls- the only natural pearl available that cannot be cultivated.

On the occasion, Seema Mehta, from Kirtilals commented that, ‘Each piece is the flower as seen in Nature handcrafted into wearable art. “The Jewelled Garden” showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of Rohit Bal. We at Kirtilals are thrilled to be a part of it.” Each piece has been handmade by craftsmen trained in Italian jewellery making techniques under the supervision of an Italian Master Jeweler. A single jewe;llery piece explains the uniqueness of every flower in its design and incorporates the natural variations of colour, 3 dimensionality and flow and movement.

Rohit Bal spoke about his creation, “The Jewelled Garden is a unique creation carrying the beauty of the natural elements of exclusive diamonds and precious stones in floral inspirations crafted by Kirtilals. I am proud of this creation that will highlight the beauty of the ever-discerning woman.”
