Another section delivers Cut Grade information, explaining the cutting chart guidelines for oval, round, square princess and square emerald cut diamonds. The American Gem Society Laboratories Grading Reports, providing detailed descriptions and samples of each American Gem Society Laboratories document are also available so also Report verification for matching information on an individual diamond grading report to the American Gem Society Laboratories database.

“Our goal is to become known in both the trade and to consumers as the ultimate resource for information they need on diamonds and diamond grading,” said Dallahan. The AGS had taken an initiative in early 2008, to increase search engine exposure from sites such as Google and Yahoo. This resulted in a 61 percent increase in unique site visits.
