IIGJ Chairman Tanvir Choksi passes away

The gem and jewellery industry mourns the death of Tanvir Choksi, Chairman of Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IIGJ). He passed away on 18 August at the age of 61.

Choksi had led IIGJ in the capacity of its Chairman since its inception in 2003. he had set up his own diamond manufacturing company Tanvirchoksi Diamonds Ltd and was the Treasurer of Mumbai Diamond Merchant Association. He participated as an active member in Diamond India Ltd.
