Forevermark launches grading labs

diamond world news service

The first two Forevermark diamond grading laboratories have been set up in Antwerp, Belgium and in Maidenhead, UK. The labs will deliver reports on cut, colour, clarity and carat of the Forevermark diamonds, which are exclusively selected to meet exacting standards.

The companies submitting their diamonds for grading can track work progress on their diamonds through a newly launched Forevermark website. The diamonds will be optionally graded, simultaneously at the time they are inscribed with an icon and unique identification number, hence reducing time across the diamond pipeline.

Forevermark is the result of renaming De Beers Group Marketing, to offer the world a brand to recognise their diamonds with. The brand is said to stand for integrity and quality of diamonds and their sourcing.
