The International Colored Gemstones Association (ICA) has planned to host its exhibition platform ‘ICA International Show’ this year in Dubai. The event has been recognised as a powerful platform for B2B networking and trade for the coloured gemstone industry, conceptualised as an initiative for the trade and by the trade.

ICA Director-Marketing & PR, Marisa Zachovay said among Jaipur ICA members on 16th July 2008 that “The ICA international Gem Show Dubai 2008, is a buyer's paradise where quality, price, and convenience are all found in one place. Featuring a select group of the most prominent gemstone merchants from around the globe, this show is the true source for fine quality colored gemstones”. The event will be held between October 13 to October 15, at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, under the patronage of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC). This event will be the first such B2B gem show in Dubai tailored especially for the loose coloured gemstone industry and featuring the world's most prominent coloured stone merchants.

The participants should be members of ICA or DMCC and must adhere to a strict code of ethics providing buyers with additional confidence in the gems and jewellery they are purchasing.
