Tiffany to expand retail in Toronto

Tiffany & Co. proposes to open a store in Toronto, over 6,200 sq.ft., its second retail venture in the city. At its new store, Tiffany would retail its exclusive collections of diamond engagement rings, jewels, fine and sterling silver jewellery. It would also house a designer portfolio of watches; gifts and accessories from Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger and Frank Gehry.

The site for the store has been chosen at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto, and the launch is slated for May 2009.
