Sodiam to hold a rough tender in Luanda

SODIAM, the Angolan National State-Owned Diamond Trading Company, will hold a rough diamond tender in Luanda, Angola

Viewings are scheduled to take place between 24 October and 14 November 2022 at SODIAM’s office and the bid submission - electronically only - will end on 15 November 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Luanda time.

The sale is exclusively targeting SODIAM-registered customers that have a proven expertise in large stones, as the tendered lots will include a total of (43) single stones:

- (7) Seven exceptional +10.80ct single stones from the LULO production, including one 170.20 pink coloured diamond (The Lulo Rose), 3 singles stones from 112ct to 160ct and 3 single stones of 45ct to 65ct.

- (27) Twenty-seven single stones of +10.80ct stones from the CATOCA production, including one exceptional 104.70 ct and several baskets 20ct to 40ct stones.

- (9) Nine single stones of +10.80ct stones ranging from 20ct to 40ct stones from the LUELE production.

A detailed participation pack will be provided at a later stage to participants only.

All participants will be required to show evidence of a negative PCR test completed max 72 hours before entry to Angola.
