“After successfully building Lightbox from the initial concept into an established business, Coe has decided to step down as Lightbox CEO,” Johnson explained. “We’ll announce a successor in due course.”

Coe was in charge at Lightbox since its inception in 2018. Prior to Lightbox, Coe spent over two decades De Beers’ industrial diamond division, Element Six. 

De Beers launched Lightbox as a cheaper, fashion alternative to natural diamonds in 2018.
