The Konkan region has been devastated by continuous, heavy rainfall since July 20' 2021. High tide in the Arabian Sea and non-stop rains took place at the same time due to which the situation has become critical. Many areas are submerged under water causing damage to the property and livelihood of people there.

The life of the people has come to a halt because of the floods. Kiran Gems came forward to help rebuild the lives of the flood-affected brothers and sisters in Chiplun and Mahad.

“Let's all get together and show our unified strength for the people in flooded areas of Konkan. Pray for everyone in distress. We firmly believe that business should never be separated from society, they exist for each other. It is the core of our company philosophy which gives equal importance to People, Planet and Profit,” says Rajesh Lakhani, Director, Kiran Gems. Lakhani urges people to walk the extra mile and support the brothers and sisters that are stuck in a grim situation.

Kiran Gems has sent the trucks with essential kits for the people in Chiplun and Mahad. The kit included biscuits, water bottles, clothing, footwear, blankets and other essentials.
