Christie's expects 15.81-ct Purple-Pink Diamond to fetch $25-38 Million

The world’s largest ever fancy vivid purple-pink diamond to appear at auction will be the highlight of Christie's Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels Live Auction to be held on 23rd May, 2021.

The Sakura Diamond, a 15.81-carat fancy vivid purple pink internally flawless type lla diamond ring, is estimated to fetch between $25 million  and $38 million.

Vickie Sek, Chairman, Department of Jewellery, Christie's Asia Pacific, commented, “Christie's has offered some of the largest and the rarest pink diamonds in history across our global salerooms, highlighted by The Winston Pink Legacy sold in Geneva in 2018 that still holds the auction record per carat for any pink diamond.
