2 large diamonds recovered at Letšeng mine

Two large, exceptional diamonds have been found in Letšeng mine

Gem Diamonds recovered an exceptional quality 166-carat Type II white diamond at the Letšeng mine in Lesotho on 18th September 2020. On the same day, the miner recovered another high quality 77-carat yellow diamond. The 166-carat diamond is the 12th +100 carat diamond recovered at Letšeng in 2020.

On 1st September, 2020, Gem Diamonds recovered a high quality 233-carat Type II white diamond, which followed the recent recovery of a 442-carat Type II diamond on 21st August, 2020.
