Zale makes two new appointments

Both hold a retail experience of over 16 years

Zale Corp. has newly appointed its executive vice president-cum-chief stores officer and vice president of quality assurance. William Acevedo has been appointed as Zale’s executive vice president and chief stores officer, which involves the responsibility of overall store operations. Acevedo will report directly to Zale’s president and chief executive officer Neal Goldberg.

Eric Christopher is the new vice president of quality assurance who would be involved in executing Zale’s merchandising and sourcing initiatives. He would report directly to Gil Hollander, executive vice president, chief sourcing and supply chain officer.

Acevedo, holds 18 years of retail experience, handling store operations and merchandising. His experience spans at Banana Republic and Macy’s. Christopher has within his 30-year career focused 16 years on retail experience sourcing product with a focus on quality assurance.
