Rumour over bid for Tiffany & Co.

The value of Tiffany & Co. shares rose by 8.4% to amount to $40.46 yesterday This has been he highest rise in more than two years, in New York. The markets have been suspecting a possible bid by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton for Tiffany, according to Bloomberg.

The markets received the rumor around 11, prompting a rise in Tiffany shares. Although Tiffany has not made any comment so far apart from the one that it does not react on rumors.
