The show is playing host to 40 exhibitors and will encompass a gamut of exhibits from diamond jewellery, colored stone jewellery, kundan meena, contemprary silver jewellery, thewa and gold jewellery, along with some unique machinery specific to the industry. International Gemmological Institute is the main sponsor of the event, while Ajay Vijay Jewellers is the Co- Sponsor.

At the ceremony, Mr Alok Kala, the show’s organiser mentioned that although Surat displays a huge potential for such trade events, the Diamond World Jewellery show could not be expanded further due to lack of support from Surat Jewellers and Associations. With adequate logistics in place, and airway connectivity to and from all major cities, and transportation made convenient to the conventioinal hall, the show and industry can grow.
