HRD Antwerp NV, which is the commercial arm of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, is opening a representative office in Shanghai, China. It will be represented by Ms. Jun Jiang, who will promote HRD Antwerp’s offerings in diamond certification, education and equipment.

“As our diamond certificates and gemological grading and educational services have a strong reputation on the Chinese market, we felt it was imperative to provide custom-tailored services to one of the world’s fastest growing consumer markets,” said General Manager Georges Brys.

The new Shanghai office reflects HRD Antwerp’s plans to expand beyond the Belgian diamond centre, for which it had launched the HRD Lab Link, a pick-up diamond certification service in Ramat Gan, Israel, and the upcoming HRD Lab Link service in Hong Kong.
