IGI Opens New Screening Facility at Bharat Diamond Bourse

The world's largest independent gemological institute will now cater to the diamond manufacturers inside the bourse; thus providing convenience to its users.

The international Gemological Institute, IGI India has opened its new screening facility at FW 5, ground floor at Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) in BKC, Mumbai.

IGI’s main aim to launch this facility is to provide convenience to the trader and manufacturers operating from BDB as well. The newly-inaugurated facility is an extension of its facility in Capital Building in BKC. The facility will act as drop and pick centre for the diamond traders/manufacturers operating from BDB thus, cutting down on the logistics time. Also, with this facility IGI will be able to provide results on the same day of submission.

The facility was inaugurated by Anoop Mehta, President, BDB and Mehul Shah, Convener, Bharat Diamond Week and Tehmasp Printer, MD, IGI - India. Also present were Ramit Kapur from IGI, Sanjay Kothari, Chairman, GJSCI, Rajesh Lakhani, Director, Kiran Gems, Milan Parekh from Mahendra Brothers.
