Zoya launches Musee Du Luxe

diamond world news service

Zoya, The Luxury Diamond Boutique from the House of Tata, launched ‘Musee Du Luxe’ - Museum of Luxury, a collection inspired by the sublime architecture, rich culture and inherent joie de vivre of Paris. In keeping with its core brand values of unique design and fine craftsmanship, the collection is an ingenious tribute to the city’s glorious legacy, sculpted in gold with the finest diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires and pearls.

The jewellery is eclectic, contemporary yet timeless, crafted with international jewellery making techniques and using the latest technology. Through this collection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, Zoya narrates tales of true Parisian ethos, blending a modern style palette with vintage charisma. Each piece takes 9 months from concept to design.

Promises of eternal love, borne witness to by engraved padlocks on the Pont des Arts Bridge inspire a statement layered necklace set, embellished with brilliant cut diamonds set on three gold tubes. It is highlighted with three very fine emeralds in different shapes, meticulously crafted with an eye to detail. Another signature piece is enthused by the exotic peony flowers that bloom in spring, and are prevalently festooned at weddings and celebrations. Bejewelled with sparkling rubies and gemstones in classic silhouettes, this set resonates with a sense of sophistication and elegance.

Speaking on the collection, Amanpreet Ahluwalia, Business Head, Zoya, says, “Carrying forward Zoya’s commitment to design and craftsmanship, we have found inspiration in rich Indian and international history and iconic cities for our collections. Diamonds are Musee Du Luxe, which epitomizes French chic and finesse. The muse for this collection is the Zoya woman who enjoys her ‘me time’ in Paris walking through its quaint lanes and reconnoitring its cafes and art.”

Sangeeta Dewan, Principal Designer, Zoya shares, “Paris is an eternal inspiration for a designer. My personal memories of iconic art and architecture like the cubism movement and the works of Picasso, inspire this collection of precious art. Other influences include the French Opera, ballet, and symbolic structures like Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, Pont des Arts bridge, and the Wall of Love; underscores Paris’ position as the most romantic city in the world. The flavours and the flowers of Paris add to the charm of the city lending colour and zest to our collection.”
